Shopping Etsy: Moustache May!

It’s now May, which in my household means — moustaches!

My husband, creator of charity website Fund-A-Stache, now has a ridiculous handlebar to raise money for St. Mary’s Food Bank.

He will also participate in Moustache May, a community site wear hundreds of men take daily photos of their moustaches and give each other pats on the back for the best shots (love you guys :^D).

It’s not too late to start growing and helping someone by growing funny facial hair!

Here are a few moustache items to put you in the growing/giving spirit:

1.) Moustache Salt & Pepper, $35
2.) Stacking Moustache Mugs, $52
3.) The Moustache Button Collection, $6.25
4.) Mustache Man Print, $15

Grow a mustache
In my household, May 1st marks the beginning of the month of the moustache.  Get in on moustache love by joining (or supporting) my husband’s fundraising site, Fund-A-Stache.org, which is a venue for growers to support a charity with their facial hair. MoustacheMay.com also starts on May 1, which creates a community among the artistic with moustaches.

SUNDAY

Peach picking @ Schnepf Farms
U-Pick Peach season started Friday
You like cobbler? It’s the first official weekend of peach-picking season, and the mild weather makes it the perfect time to trek out to Queenscreek (and it is a trek) for some delicious fruit. Schnepf Farms has boxes — and groves of trees chalk full o’ peaches. My tip, pick peaches that are still slightly unripe. They’ll last a little longer with fewer bruises.

Schnepf Farms
24810 S. Rittenhouse Road
Queen Creek, AZ 85242
Entrance is free.
U-pick peaches
are $1.75 per pound
7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

CRACKING GOOD THINGS OF THE WEEK

- Yeasayer’s O.N.E.
I’ve spent the week singing this song with my own lyrics. My husbands continues singing with the right lyrics, which I feel is just biting my joyful moment.

- Chloe Moretz
I love watching young gals dominate — and when they have a potty mouth, like Chloe Moretz’s character in Kick Ass, it’s even more entertaining.
