Late to the Mad Men party

3 years or so ago when Mad Men mania swept the country, I didn’t join the masses.
Sure, I loved the “get the look of Mad Men” style features. It’s set in the ’60s, what’s not to love? But I didn’t tune in — or change my Facebook/MySpace icon into a Mad Men character.
All that, however, has changed. My friend lent me the season 1 & 2 DVD set. The first season I enjoyed. Joan is smokin’ hot, Peter gives me the heebies, and Don Draper…well I wish I could be so cucumber cool. I watched all 13 episodes of season 2 in about 2 1/2 nights. As I wait for season 3, I’m getting into the spirit with some Sterling Cooper-style clothes.

Corn flake
I’m feeling like a bona fide farmer at the moment.
Why? Because I’m growing corn!
The line of 12 below is just a test to see if it proves to be a decent barrier between us and the neighbors (sorry neighbors).
