Leather Tuscadaro in the house?

My mother-in-law was reminiscing about a favorite pair of black leather hot pants she wore 30 years ago…”I wore them everywhere! To the grocery store…gardening…everywhere.”
Gardening, eh?
Of course I saw amusement in the story: Imagine a 70 year-old woman pruning the hibiscus in leather. I didn’t however, see a trend.
A few days later I walked past an Urban Outfitters store and spied a pair of black leather short shorts on the mannequin in the window.
THEN I saw a photo of Gwyneth Paltrow at the premiere of Two Lovers (right) in a pair of black leather shorts.
I have been thinking about planting a garden in the backyard…
